How To Add More Memory To Skyrim

What do yous consider to be 'low FPS'? The game is locked on 60 FPS because information technology is tied to the games physics.

Like it stays at sixty untill about 30-40mins of gameplay so information technology stays at similar 30fps for the rest of the session, weird huh?

that makes information technology sound like something else is loading up in the background while you are playing.

check your video card temps, possibly it'due south getting hot and the bill of fare is throttling itself to continue from overheating.

Well my temprature is 40 degrees so its cool, i dont know

Skyrim SSE is a 64bit game that tin can only run on a 64bit Bone. If you have more than 8Gb of RAM, it will use it. If it can't go it it's considering you accept other programs running that take it. This isn't like 32bit Oldrim where you accept to jump through hoops to give it memory.

Also notation that RAM is different from VRAM.

To give it more RAM, install more RAM. Washed.

Well my game conspicuously isn't using more ram as with the game running i task managered it and it was merely using 4 so stop telling me stuff i already know most the diffrence betwixt vram and ram and give me a solution or go out of this word. Washed

Yes. I think y'all are done. Practiced luck.

I don't sympathize the question, since you're request how do we recode the engine. Why exercise you believe your FPS halving exactly means it's not using plenty ram? By the sounds of it, you've got v-sync setup incorrectly. Try turning information technology off and see what happens.

The game uses equally much RAM equally information technology needs to. RAM isn't "go faster juice". Think of information technology similar the elevation of a workbench - the more than space you've got, the easier information technology is for you to place and organise any it is yous're working with. In that location comes a point, though, where you've set out everything y'all need and having more room won't assist your project.

If you want the game to use more, then y'all've got to arrive need more than. Effort installing some more texture mods, or mods that add together more NPCs to cities, etc.

Of grade, none of this will aid with your frame charge per unit problems...

Give u.s.a. more info so nosotros tin can figure out what is happening and why.

Without mods the game only uses 4ish gig of ram

If it's only using 4 gig of RAM, so obviously that'southward all it needs. Y'all may know the difference between RAM and VRAM, merely you clearly don't know how a 64 bit programme works. It can use all the RAM that information technology needs, there are no restrictions other than the amount that yous take in your system. There is no manner to give it whatsoever more than than it's already using up. If y'all're experiencing slowdowns, and then information technology has naught to do with your RAM.

i ve 32Go ram et 8Go Vram, up to 3490Mo RAM game crash with or without patchs, Skyrim SE use a 32 scrap memory addressing, Bethesda F**Chiliad off

are y'all proverb y'all call back you are crashing because you don't take plenty memory? you seem to be saying 2 opposite things and i'm not really understanding clearly what y'all mean.

It does non. Quote from another thread:

There'southward no way information technology could practice that with 32 scrap retention addressing.

I believe your game crashes. I believe you experience it at around 3.5GB of memory usage. Merely running out of memory isn't the cause, unless you're actually/accidentally playing Oldrim.
